Mrs. Kimberly Russell, P.E. is Russell & Russell Engineering’s Founder & President. After graduating in 1995 from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering, she practiced Geotechnical Engineering in Orlando then moved to southwest Florida in 1998 where she has been practicing Geotechnical Engineering for over two decades.

She has extensive experience in the geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing services including various public roadway projects, municipal projects, single and multi-family residential projects, multi-family high rises, water/wastewater treatment facilities, as well as multi-story parking garages. Her expertise includes shallow and deep foundation design, marine based soil borings, settlement analysis, pre-construction surveys, ground vibration monitoring, various soil enhancement techniques (vibro-replacement with stone columns, deep dynamic compaction techniques, pressure grouting, etc.) materials and geotechnical laboratory testing.

She worked for Universal Engineering Sciences for over 14 years where she received numerous promotions and advanced quickly to the position of Engineering Manager. She was the first employee to receive the corporate award from Universal Engineering honoring her with the “Whatever it takes” approach. This “whatever it takes” approach and her entrepreneurial spirit drove her to launch Russell & Russell Engineering in October 2009.

Mrs. Russell’s has assembled a team of engineers, and engineering technicians that are ideally suited for projects in southwest Florida. Her extensive business experience has provided her with a unique understanding of her clients’ needs. She is a natural leader, expert engineer, with a proven track record of quality work and personalized services.
